I actually pre-ordered it. I like it alot, after a few knee jerk reactions. My main complaint was it's not 100% instanced, but people are pretty quick to group (fellowship as it's called there) and reduce time needed to get required kills etc.. I do not see 24/7/365 spam to sell (they have an auction house) and in general it's so much calmer and enjoyable. BUT, it's new.
One thing I did right off was join a large guild (thanks to a gw player that recommended me to her Hubby's guild there) and I am moving right along. It reminds me so much of SWG in the old days when it was fun (crafters etc..). With preorder I only pay 9.99 a month or 199.00 for unlimited lifetime access. It's nice to have something else to play. I was burning out on gW, and could not see anything good about it. Now I go back and forth.
So far I'm an Elf - Champion with a secondary of Armorsmith/Tailor. I love the diversity.
